The Error Code

Have you ever felt like sometimes you were alone in your fight to enjoy your stressful life? I sure have. I’m not saying my life is miserable, but we all have our moments. I want to show you what I’ve learned because I’ve learned a few things that I didn’t get before my first year in high school.

I’m almost a sophomore, and wow, I learned so much in my freshman year! First, just relax and enjoy life! That’s what God made life for! Don’t sweat the small stuff, and focus on the good stuff in life!

Secondly, I learned that if you can’t praise God in the joyful times in your life, then good luck trying to praise Him during the bad. God wants us to be thankful for ALL of His blessings, and why shouldn’t we? We have so much!

Last, I learned that enjoying life and self indulgence are two different things! I eat too much. I admit it! I gained a lot of weigh I’ve the past year, knew I wasn’t being healthy! Now I’m not trying to make you feel bad about your weight! That’s not my purpose. We all have different places where we want ourselves health wise. As long as you’re here you should be that’s great! Anyway, I knew I had to do something. So I started running at night. I didn’t really think I could do it, nor did I think I would continue to run every night. Apparently neither did my family! I did though, and I continue to run and lose weight.

I feel amazing even though I’ve gone through some scary things so far this year. Nothing, not even grades, family deaths, health challenges, and broken friendships will stop me from loving the beauty in life! God has given us so much to be thankful for! I know that some moments you feel like God your calculator, and every time you try to get the answer to life…He gives you the error code, but I promise…He always shows you the way.

Life is Good! God is good!

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬
